Bordeaux and environs, France

The beautiful vineyards of St. Emilion, a principal red wine region of Bordeaux.

Was charmed by the linearity of the tracks, the light streaming through the trees, and the sense of possibility evoked.

Villandry and Versailles, France

Bicycled with friends to Villandry from Tours (the sore butts were worth the dazzling views)

Loire Valley, France

Every evening I would take a walk in the garden near my host family's house in Tours, and I frequently spotted two beautiful swans, one of which is pictured here.

Hong Kong

much cleaner, faster, and slicker than subways in the US!
Taken while hiking the Dragon's Back, so named because of its many hills and valleys. This is our trail snaking down a pass. My brother and I were rationing our water by this point, perhaps more for drama than necessity's sake.
